Why Yellow Can?
March 22 is World Water Day. We celebrate it each year as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources.
Women and children spend 125 million hours each day collecting water. Since we take for granted the luxury of modern plumbing, this short film reflects on what it could mean to loose that luxury.
The "Yellow Can" film is intended to be part of a series of short films produced for international development organizations. Concepts and scripts exist for additional "World Days". When a partner is found, additional films will be produced:
- World Poverty Day - March 21
- World Health Day - April 7
- World Malaria Day - April 25
- World Environment Day - June 5
- World Day Against Child Labour June 12
- World Refugee Day - June 20
- World Day against Trafficking in Persons - July 30
- World Humanitarian Day - August 19
- World Food Day - October 16
- World Toilet Day - November 19
- World AIDS Day - December 1
Why Media?
Since we produce films and videos, why aren't we Yellow Can Productions?
Because that would only be part of the story. We do much more than produce amazing short films and commercials. We are media specialist in the use of film. That means we can help you :
- Design integrated fundraising campaigns that utilize videos
- Manage the distribution of the films and videos for optimum reach through social media
- Evaluate the analytics and adjust to achieve better performance
- Teach you how to do more of this yourself
